Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille is our other award winning concept with 4 locations; Sanibel Island, Ft. Myers Beach, St. Pete Pier, & Jungle Terrace St. Pete. We’ve been awarded Tripadvisor’s #1 everyday eats restaurant in the country twice and have become a staple in each market we operate in. The name “Doc Ford’s” comes from a character in a series of fictional books based in SW Florida. Doc “Marion” Ford is a former CIA agent turned marine biologist who continues to find himself in sticky situations from his past.
The Dixie Fish Co. goes back to 1937, the year it was originally built. Primarily a fish market and offloading site for the shrimp industry in those days, it has come a long way, while keeping much of its original character. We purchased Dixie Fish Co in 2015 and turned it into the award winning seafood joint you know today. This location is a fan favorite, with an open air atmosphere that pays homage to the old days.
